One of my absolute favorite things to do is go for a walk when the clouds are hella grey and a storm is approaching. People have said I’m tempting fate but seriously, fuck em’. I think it’s beautiful. I always feel like I’m standing in the middle of the winds of change. Maybe I relish the chaos. I don’t know but I do know it makes me feel truly alive. #adventuretime
I remember when I was living in Montreal and I finally went on my first solo bike ride after years of been scared of street biking. I went to see a friend and was indoors for a good bit of the evening. When it was time to leave, the evening was crisp and breezy; perfect biking weather.
Then the winds picked up and I swear I started giggling. About a third of the way home, it started raining heavily and there was mad thunder. Then I started laughing hysterically. What a sight I must have been to the passers-by. They felt safe in their automobiles and felt sorry for me. I felt protected by the elements and didn’t give a damn. That was the day I felt the most alive. I had conquered a huge fear, passed a life milestone and was rewarded by the universe with my very own thunder show and literal winds of change. #blessed
